maybe one of the reason he pitches in blowout games is because he has had trouble throwing strikes in tough situations. also, his numbers are, at least to some degree, a reflection of throwing in easier situations than howry and dempster.

i think they do a pretty good job of using marmol. he has the best stuff in the pen and is becoming the best pitcher in the pen if he isn't there already.

Ohman is fine as a LOOGY. Marmol is being used the way a real closer should be. Ramirez is turning into David Ortiz.
