2-5 YTD, lets try to get closer to .500 today

D'backs -130 @ STL. Brandon Webb 2.53 ERA on the road, Looper coming off the DL after he's been awful this season.

Cubs -162 @ Washington. I don't mind laying this much chalk on the hottest team in baseball since June against a AAAA pitcher.

I think the Cubs bet is a very bad one and I just took Washington +146. You're already laying odds on the road, and you're doing it at a good 5-10c worse than the lines I'm seeing. "The hottest team in baseball" is probably a bad thing when trying to find value.

The other one looks much better to me but not one I'd make.

I'll add that if I wanted to lay some chalk on the road, Bedard and Baltimore is where I'd do it. -102 on WSEX. Good luck with Arizona.

adding: Phillies/Astros over 9.5. Woody Williams vs Jamie Moyer. Bad right-handed pitcher against a team that pounds right-handed pitching, and a lefty going up against a team that's 4th in OPS in the NL against LHP.
