Sticky says don't ask leading questions, so I'm not going to until I respond to someone's post. I don't have any reads on any of the players, as this was the 22nd hand of the session

Shove preflop, people will look you up with soooo much worse. That being said, you should learn to play with 100BB+ if you want to develop your skills reload preflop.

As played preflop, flop shove is fine, be prepared to get looked up by just about anything, Qx included.

Yeah, my buy-in had already taken a hit from a previous hand... two pair flop to someone who hit pair on 4th and 2nd on 5th.

I tried entering the pot strongly w/ a 4bb raise from utg, and then shoved at flop.

will post results in a bit

(sry, will post $10NL in micro next time, thought it went here)

Ender,
Welcome to 2p2. You played this hand fine. As folks are saying you can also shove preflop over BB's range -- this especially makes sense given that you are not very deep, so he won't really be able to fold anything he could have. But just flat calling is OK too.

There's no way you could ever fold this hand at any point.

Here's the summary... and part of why I wanted to know what I could do to improve:

*** SHOW DOWN ***

Villian - Shows [A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]] (Two Pair, aces and threes)
Hero - Shows [K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]] (Two Pair, kings and threes)
MP2 - Shows [9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]] (Two Pair, nines and threes)
Hero Collects $0.20 from side pot-1
Villian Collects $10.30 from main pot

And per someone else's comment, if I come in at 100BB and take a bad beat and am down to 40BB, should I rebuy back up to 100?

there's nothing you can do in this hand, you will always lose your whole stack (100 BB) when you have KK and they have AA, especially here b/c you're pretty shallow.
You should always reload to 100 BB anytime you lose a hand (I actually reload before the hand is over when I don't know if I won or lost) if you feel you have an edge and that you are properly rolled (meaning around 20 buy ins for this level, 15 if you have a good edge). Also playing with a full buy in is the mandatory to improve your skills.
Good luck
