My last name is Anthony.

Whenever I go someplace where the worker needs a last name for their computer system, they ask "Can I please have your last name?"

I say "Anthony."

About 75% of the time, the worker will stare at me blankly for a few seconds, and ask "That's your last name?"

Yes, idiot. I obviously heard your question, so why would you think I'd give you my first name when you asked for the last name. After a few times, this gets really annoying, but it probably shouldn't infuriate me like it does.

lol my name is Mark Andrew Billie. my first name is Mark, my middle name is Andrew and my last name is Billie. you and I have the same problem. like all through public school... K-12... teacher would not call other students Fitzpatrick Scott! but they could not wrap their tiny brains around the fact that my first name was not Billie.

most of my friends call me Billie. I respond to it, for whatever that's worth. but yeah I feel you on this.

I reeeeally hate Ann Coulter too...

I think it burns me as much or more though that guys like Skip Bayles and Stephen A. Smith get piad to share their idiotic analysis of sports, let alone Stephen having his own show.

It also infuriates me when during sex, the chick is on top and starts coming just before you so when you start the hip gyrations are much weaker than they should be.

My name is Jordan. 85% of the time I introduce myself to a black person, they tell me how great I played in the NBA, or something stupid like that (reference to Michael Jordan). It doesn't actually infuriate me. It's just awkward, because I have no clue what to say back to them. Also, it doesn't make sense to me at all. My name is Jordan, not Michael. It would be more reasonable if they criticized me for playing such a nefarious role in the invasion of Israel in 1948 or something like that.

Publications/people that italicize song names or put album names or movie titles in quotes really bother me, very off-putting for some reason.
