"Radar Love" (as made famous by White Lion)

Ugh. A cover of a cover?

The game will ship later this summer exclusively on the PlayStation 2.

WTF? 3 newer systems out there (including PS3!) and they are still doing exclusives? What a bunch of crap.

Was at Best Buy yesterday, they've got the box for pre-order. On the back of the box is listed "Turning Japanese" and "Seventeen" in addition to songs already mentioned, and maybe some others as well.

"Seventeen" by Winger? I'd've preferred "Headed for a Heartbreak"

whats interesting to me is that they chose the 80s as their next game

I know a lot of people play GH but isn't the target demographic still 15-21 males? i can't see many of them even knowing most of these songs. I'm 26 and only know maybe half of them.

I don't think it matters that much. I didn't know every song on GH1 and 2 when they came out but had a blast playing and learning them (and I'm old so not the target demographic anyway). I probably got more mileage out of the songs I didn't already know as I had to both learn the tune and learn how to play it.

The 80s are becoming retro and cool now; it's all cyclical.

As a 22 year old I [censored] hate the 80s to the point that my hate for the 80s will outweigh my love for GH and I won't be buying this game. The music in the 80s sucked large balls and I don't want to listen to it, ever.

Why make a music game without music? =/

They need exactly One song to lure me in.

I hated probably 90% of the songs in GH2 when I first got it. And I still don't like most of them. But I found out I can really enjoy playing a song without liking the song itself, if that makes any sense.
