Default QQ sickening spot

Button is pretty nitty, I was planning on folding to preflop push...

Original raiser is pretty donkish 40/18, tried bluffing me once on the river with a missed draw with (120 bet into 250 pot), I called him with Ace high, but other than that he hasn't been too aggressive.

How can I not 4 bet? Sure, button is nitty, but he's 3 betting an aggro donk with position. What do I do? Just call and play for set value?

Why is reraise/fold so bad? I'm 100% sure this nit wouldn't 5 bet shove a hand I beat, or even AK.

4-bet/fold is bad because if he's not gonna push anything worse(btn), is he even gonna call with anything worse? also, if you just call here, keeping the donk in the pot isn't a bad thing really.

This just sucks - i would stick with your original plan you had for button and wait, wait, wait and check - maybe he checks behind giving you a freecard (fearing you might have KK?) - dont have a lot of other ideas here.

You dont get money PF from donkeys - you take it postflop so indeed calling here would make more sense hoping donkey also calls the RR (mostly they do with even crappier hands they normally do with more than 2 people in the pot).

Ok, just to make sure, you guys do realize that the donk is the one that called and not the nit right?

Let's say I just call pf and flop is low uncoordinated flop. What do I do then? Just chk/fld?

ya i realize donk called...

if u just call the 3-bet of course ur checking that flop. probably folding if the nit bets into both of you since he won't expect the donk to fold anything and your cc is scary. maybe peel one if you think he might bet jj or tt or something.

Ugh.

My problem with this is that if I don't put a raise in somewhere, I don't make the nit define his hand, and I tend to lose my stack that way.

Maybe donk/fold any undercard flop?

Still puts me right back where I started though, nit's better hand calls or pushes, and worse folds.

lol, ur making this way harder than it is. u realize by making the nit 'define his hand' u lose mad immediate/potential value from ur hand?
