Default AA Big Reraise (NL50 FR)

Villain is UTG. They are very loose and aggressive pre-flop, but not so aggro after the flop.
The stats are 47.7/22.7/1.9.

Raise to $3.5-$4 preflop. Bet $5-$6 on flop. Consider checking behind on turn when called (at least on that turn) and calling a reasonable bet on river.

I might play AA too weakly, but that's mainly because your range is rather open to your opponent at this point if he has any brains at all. And the Baluga Theorem states that if you get raised on turn, one pair is no good.

The only thing you beat here is AK, maybe with ace of spades. I don't like to play huge pots with AA unless it's preflop all-in.

I like a turn bet here because we can fold to a raise here (we don't have the ace of spades). As for pf I raise to $4 and for flop POT IT. Nh.

And there was some chitterchatter about my comment on irc. I meant I don't like playing big pot with AA unless I know I'm ahead. -.-v Many things to consider.

pf to a MIN of 4. I usually find myself calling this raise and folding to a significant river bet.

As I posted it on here it's probably evident that I wasn't happy with how I played this hand. I reraised too little preflop because I didn't want to chase UTG out, then realised that I had absolutely no range for them due to their preflop wildness. This was compounded by betting too little on the flop.

Once the flush card came I felt I had no option but to fold to the large turn reraise.

This hand to me is primarily of interest as an example of playing big hands against wild players, and I'm surprised the replies did not mention UTG's stats at all.

I don't think there's a huge amount of value to that turn bet.
