Default Checks in the US

when the legislation first happend I cashed all my party money except 200. A few weeks ago, I remembered that I had that couple of hundred and requested a check.

The check just got rejected by my bank (US), I thought for some reason the checks would still be cashed?

Is this the same for all the sites? I have money on Stars and Full tilt and now I'm afraid to request checks....

What are the safe ways to get your money out if any?

US banks should accept these checks, and if for some reason your bank does not, take it to a different bank, but you should be able to cash them.

On FT, if you used Click2Pay, it will be credited back to that account, otherwise you probably have to request a check, but again, that should be able to be cashed without a problem. You should not have any trouble cashing Stars checks either...hopefully you won't run into any problems.

On UB you can request a wire, but there is a $50 processing fee.

Best of luck!

I cashed two checks from Party in '07 and didn't have any issues.
