Hi Praxising,

I've had some minor issues with PT:

1- As your db increases in size, PT's response gets slower. On an older machine this might be a real issue.

2- Related to 1, if you are downloading a large number of hands, the application appears to freeze. This is not likely so.

3- Make sure the directory from which you read hands gets regularly emptied: Read hands go to another directory and other non-read files must also be moved. That is, if you're not tracking your HE S&G sessions the files will slow PT's response.

4- My Graphics card (NVIDIA) caused some issues which are reported on PTs forum. I updated the drivers and this seems to have corrected the problem.

Hope this helps

Thanks. I'll go check out that forum before I do anything. How do you know what graphics card (all a mystery to me) your computer is using?

One way is to go to your Start Menu > Run...
In the blank type: dxdiag
Click on the Display tab and see what the info is in the upper left box. The manufacturer will most likely be either Nvidia or ATI.

Can you also have your HUD display cards that are folded? It is difficult to multi-table stud without having some way to see folded cards.

I don't really have any way to do that. I've thought about it briefly but I'm not interested in the amount of work required. It might be easier with some poker sites than others, though.
