3/5 Live, big river decision with full house, call or go to valuetown?
villain in this hand seems to play like a typical average older white guy... knows how to fold like the bottom 60 percent of hands but tends to bet a little too much when he does flop something, we've played a little bit and he probably respects my game a little bit although i was caught b3b bluffing from my bb a few orbits ago. Villain has 600 and I cover.
Three limpers, i check 56o in my bb. flop: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I normally bet here but decided to check and see what developed. Villain bets 20, terrible fish calls, I decide to just call because I don't like the spot that c/r puts me in here. Turn: J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I pause, act like I'm going to go for a large bet twice, then finally check hoping to misrepresent my hand for a free card. Not sure if they notice or care, but it checks around. River: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I am pretty sure there is a flush out there so I elect to check. Villain bets 30, fish calls, I raise to 130, villain then says "make it 230" but the casino has a dumb rule where he has to double the BET as opposed to the RAISE so they make him put out 260. He seems kinda mad but I can't tell if he's faking since he did choose to MIN RAISE me on the river after i c/r. He has about 400 left after this raise. Fold (lol) call, or raise? If I raise, how much? Advice on all streets welcome but I am by far most interested in the river decision. Comments on betting the river vs. c/r also welcome. Thanks in advance. |
