Peyton Manning is such a one dimensional QB. While other QBs like Vince Young can run and pass, Peyton can only pass.

[/ QUOTE ]

Vince Young can't pass.

[/ QUOTE ]

Am I getting leveled?

Young passes about as well as Peyton runs, so obviously they are about equal quaterbacks.

Chargers should just let the Colts score, that is most likely their best chance at winning this game.

5 INTs and Manning is BLOWING RIVERS OUT in the QB competition.

I'm going to get lambasted, but Gates started moving back for the ball, meaning no PI. D-back was just trying to catch up.

[/ QUOTE ]
Just keep making up the rules as you go along.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'll just watch the [censored] play, thank you very much.

The receiver can't turn around and move back and get a DEFENSIVE pass interference call, that's just the way it is.

[/ QUOTE ]
You shouldn't bother watching the game, you obviously have no clue what the rules are.

[/ QUOTE ]
Aren't you two rooting for the same team? [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

[/ QUOTE ]
That doesn't mean I can't call him out when he posts something incredibly stupid.

[/ QUOTE ]

Let me get this straight...

I was watching the game with my own two eyes, and I saw Gates turn around and start moving back. This, to me, says that the contact is, at best, incidental. You can't honestly say you'd flag a DEFENSIVE player when the OFFENSIVE player is at least partially responsible for the contact???

Add to that that the ball was underthrown and incomplete at best if Gates doesn't come back...how in God's name do you call PI on a play like that?

[/ QUOTE ]

http://www.nfl.com/rulebook/passinterference
[ QUOTE ]
Actions that constitute defensive pass interference include but are not limited to:

(a) Contact by a defender who is not playing the ball and such contact restricts the receiver’s opportunity to make the catch.

[/ QUOTE ]

You cannot be this stupid.

[/ QUOTE ]

So basically, you're saying a receiver can just run right through a D-back on an underthrown ball as long as the D-back isn't looking at the ball? Wow.

That's why, instead of Offensive or Defensive PI on a play like that, they just don't throw a flag. Jesus [censored] Christ, am I speaking [censored] Swahili or something?
