Default Richard Brodie 86d from the WSOP

Linky here (not, for the suspicious among you, a rickroll):

This struck me as being one of the dumbest corporate decisions ever. The man was barred for playing VIDEO POKER.

Brodie's tale is a very accurate representation of the type of irrational customer-unfriendly decisions Harrah's makes.

Casinos suck. To quote Bill Maher, "You can't even count inside your head without security carrying you out.".

here's another one. how about they decide to have 3,000 players waiting over 6 hours for a tournament, then start said tournament with well over two-thirds of the potential players still standing in the hallway. how about in order to get a refund for the tournament that you paid for and waited 6 hours for, you have to stand in a line that moves once every 30 minutes.

seriously, harrah's can suck a fat dick.

Lol I remember Maher doing that bit and loving it...fwiw, he was comparing airline security to casino security when he made the quip.

This is the most bizarre thing I have ever heard. The cliff notes version is that Harrahs banned him from their properties because he hit too many jackpots at video poker. This is the kind of thing I would have expected from lugheads in the 60s, not from corporate management in the 21st century.
