Default Olympic event

Can the sport of poker and I mean sport ever be considered as an Olympic event? What are your views and why?

Maybe a chip tossing event. Who can stack the largest number of chips without a topple? Chip lifting?

No, poker shouldn't be an Olympic sport.

How would you measure success? A big WSOP-like tournament?

So that would make Jamie Gold the world's best or something... and yet everyone think they play better then he does.

The only people who consider poker a sport are those who have never played sports or those who never do anything physical in their life. It's an excuse for fat-asses and lazy people to make themselves feel better.

Sad but true. The people that typically claim it to be a sport are the ones that still wear sports jerseys even though they are about 50 pounds overweight and/or bald and/or over 30. It's the Al Bundy syndrome.

Poker is not a sport. Thus, it has no place in the Olympics.
