Re: Cheating at AP, updated cliff notes
[ QUOTE ]
This is growing fast, do we need another cliff notes thread because I am falling behind. Someone make one when it is acceptable so I don't have to read lots of pages, plus +1 digg from me. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I'm kind of confused too. So it's not Scott Tom but instead some other guy's name has entered the drama? No idea where that came from and I'm not about to wade through gigantic threads just to find it. |

Re: Cheating at AP, updated cliff notes
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] If there was a superuser, you can bet there isn't one anymore. If certain employees or ex-employees had the idea that they could cheat and get away with it, they now know better. [/ QUOTE ] I do not see why this would be the case... [/ QUOTE ] Right -- if I had access to #363, and no scruples, I would be raking it in like no tomorrow. |

[ QUOTE ] the .xls whistleblower [/ QUOTE ] Adanthar, the .xls file sent to Marco was sent intentionally? [/ QUOTE ] Nat is on that part of the story, and according to him, "two sources have said that the person no longer works there". Draw your own conclusions. [ QUOTE ] So it's not Scott Tom but instead some other guy's name has entered the drama? No idea where that came from and I'm not about to wade through gigantic threads just to find it. [/ QUOTE ] I updated the OP. |

Furthermore, Dan Druff, I believe that the cheaters should be brought to some kind of justice.

Re: Cheating at AP, updated cliff notes
I understand people wanting to get their money back, but if Absolute doesn't pay severely for this, the cheating will certainly continue at a rampant level. There has to be admission of some sort of breach, not necessarily AP current management saying "I did it" but something.
They used 363 as poorly as possible, so that chance of detection was basically 100%. If they do not incur a significant loss because of this, what is to stop them from continuing to use 363, but more intelligently? They will be able to blanketly deny any further similar cheating allegations if they don't admit to a breach in this case, and the accusers agree to it. |
