Players crazier at $1/$2 than $0.25/$.50?
Has anyone noticed this trend on their site, or is it just me? I play on iPoker, and I have noticed that players at some of the mid limits are nuttier (i.e. worse) than the ones at lower limits... I just watched some guy drop 6 x $200 buy-ins ($1200) in about 2 hours, and he's still going! There seem to be a number of those guys... maybe they think it's scaring people if they bluff with $100? :-) Anyways, I'm not complaining... starting to feel guilty about taking their money though...

id agree...but i think the maniac-ness (if thats a word) of these players is only cuz they happen to have a ton of dough whereas .25/.50 players prob just bought on for 50 dollars and are too cautious to lose it

Yup. Sure. You're right. You're so right, in fact, that I invite you to start playing on PokerStars in the 1/2 games there.
Let me know when you're gonna play and what table you're at, too. |

Players are more aggressive at the higher stakes, and are willing to puch small edges. Players at lower stakes "like to see flops" play pretty passively overall.
