Re: river fold
Don't know villain but doubt he is good enough to bluff here. Would pretty sweet though.

Re: river fold
ez fold
would def NOT be a sweet move by villain, investing 2bb in a 5bb pot on a bluff is dumb, esp since live players never fold a hand, esp on this board with a flop that's dry as hell this is also why betting out makes no sense fwiw |

Re: river fold
Up until the river, he played it very much like he had KK-TT; he also could have had some sort of Broadway combo taking a stab at the flop.
You've played Ax in a pretty typical fashion but will often get looked up by KK-TT when you bet the river (obviously the broadway combos fold). If he has QQ-TT, he may still call you down as he should be pretty sure that the K isn't going to help your hand (unless *you* have KK, which he can discount heavily as you didn't 3 bet preflop). If you can fold to a raise, then I think betting out is the best river play. |

Re: river fold
Time to fold. You may be chopping, at best. He doesn't have AK. Probobly he has KK. He got a free turn card. Pot is too small. Let it go.
ps, the problem with playing A5 is that when an A hits you don't think ur ahead and play it too weakly. A check raise on the flop would have been a better play...to find out where you are at. |

A. you win a pot with the worst hand or B. You get called and you ensure that decent players call you down in every pot they enter with you. I am constantly miffed when good players lay good hands down to me, bc "they respect my play" and am always looking for ways to remedy that. Of course this rarely comes up since I would not make to the river w/ an underpair often. |
