The dolphin, it looks like he's the man in the relationship.

It's clearly the dolphin. dolphins are more agile, and he is better armed for the fight.

Are we talking about real unicorns and dolphins, or the fantasy nonsense in your picture? A real dolphin wouldn't be that heavily armed.

And where is the battle? On a boat, on the shore?

I say unicorn for most scenarios.

On land: Unicorn stomps dolphin to death ftw.

The terrain of the battle is not determined. Look at that picture. Do you see land? Hell no you don't. That said, you also don't see water. Because of this (as well as the appearance of the rainbow), we're left to assume that the battle is taking place in the air. This leads me to believe that both of these creatures are, in fact, magical.

Now we just need to figure out who is more agile in the air.

I see no reason to think anything other than the obvious: each creature can move just as proficiently in the air as they could in their preferred environment. In other words, the unicorn can run and jump and [censored] rather well...and the dolphin can go wherever he wants at lightning quick speeds.

The environment in which the fight takes place will obviously have a huge impact. But then what neutral territory is there? Land is out, sea is out, dolphins can't fly so air is out. Looks like the only place left is a zero-g environment i.e. space. Given the razor-claws that the dolphin is equipped with, as well as the blinding light-emitting thingies that its got on its shoulders/strapped to its head, I'll take the dolphin.
