omg. Raise to $28 preflop. Bet the flop. Call any all-in. As played, I have no clue.

Yeah you totally made a horrible play checking the flop. Why the hell would you check.

I usually always c-bet here. But, thinking hsi 5% raising range (and since he called my 3-bet), I figure he's on AA, KK, QQ, or AK. I think this is a WA/WB situation where I might be able to get more value from him by under-representing my hand here. Besides, sometimes its fun to take different lines to throw people off.

If the board was a rainbow or the King was the 2-flush, I'd like it a lot more. Or if we held the Ace of clubs.

So, you think he checks the AcKc on flop and turn here?

He isn't agressive, so maybe. Plus AcQc might well be in the range too.

I don't dislike your idea though, just not the spot.

Mixing it up is obv a very very good idea, but this is absolutly the wrong spot to. He is much more likley to have AK than KK in this spot and pay you off with his stack. He could also be dumb and pay you off with worse hands. By checking, not only do you give a free card for him to suck out with or give yourself a difficult decision if a 3rd club comes like it did, but it is so much easier to get your entire stack in good if you bet the flop which is the whole point of re-raising it pre-flop anyway.

Is AK (AcKc excluded) going to stack off on the flop after I 3bet preflop? What is he beating if we get it all in? Now, on the turn, he could convince himself to get it all in with AcKx (or maybe even AxKc) thinking he MIGHT be good and have draws to more outs. I just don't know if I can expect to get all-in on the flop while ahead as often as I can do on the turn.

Maybe I'm giving my opponent too much credit for being able to fold AK on a K high flop, but in a 3bet pot, I think many people can get away from it.

Why is he even calling a 3-bet preflop with ak if hes not going to stack off on that flop? If he calls a 3-bet preflop and won't stack off when he hits top pair on a almost perfect flop board for his top pair, thats so horrible it's not even funny.
