Open Suggestion for this board

Suggestion for board and FAQ: every time someone seriously says XYZ is 'a lock, a guarantee, can't lose' make them offer 10-1 odds to everyone on the SB forum up to $100.
If XYZ is already > 10-1, then make it 100-1 odds. If they back out, temp ban for a week. If they come back and post 'locks' again, permaban.
If they post someone else's 'my friend has locks' same thing.

Sugg 2: All 'locks' from now on must go in the amusing I HAS LOCKS thread, otherwise temp ban, 2nd offense perma ban.

I really don't much difference from someone saying a 50/50 shot is really 100-1 in their favor than spam.

Obvs you can post this sort of nonsense all you want in SE, as that's what that forum is for.

Putting all LOCKS there is definitely fine. Donk parlays and LOCKS are basically the same anyway...except most of us don't expect to win the donk parlays. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

NAJ - I understand what you're going for, but personally I LOVE the "Locks" threads. Last week all they did was solidify my BSP picks for the week. All the regulars of this forum rarely make an appearance in these threads so why not just let these threads serve their purpose? Because these threasds really do serve a purpose! It's great to see what Joe Public is betting on, and on this forum when Joe appears at least he is attempting to create an educated reason for his pick.

Once again, I LOVE the "locks threads", it's like gaining insight into the mind of a donkey - especially on 2p2 when these donkeys REALLY try to express how much THOUGHT they've put into their LOCK OF TEH WEEK.

I think you agree with me. I propose we let this go on, and only tap the tank with highly sarcastic comments.
