Pokerstars update failure

When restarting the PokerStars client, I got a "A newer version of the software is available on the server" notice as so many times before. This time, however, the update process failed with the error (I tried several times):

Unable get latest software version from the server
Error code -3/0
Please contact support@pokerstars.com


Any suggestions what to do? Clicking ok just gets me the failed update, clicking cancel terminates the client. Stars support hasn't replied yet (almost two hours), which is uncharacteristic of them.

Never mind, problem solved. A zombie process of PokerStars.exe was running in the background. I killed it, and then the update ran normally. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
