AK 3-bet PF, TPTK Monotone board
Villain is 26/18/2.38 over 380 hands. I don't recall seeing anything tricky or stupid from him. He's pretty sticky on the flop, maybe folding half the time to a c-bet. He took quite a bit of time to call the 3-bet pre-flop.
I have been very tight at this table, thanks to getting T2o about 20 times. I haven't shown a hand since he's sat down. No Limit Holdem $0.50/$1 Stacks: UTG has $203.75 HJ has $166.75 Villain $94.75 Button $145.50 Hero $127.75 BB $115 Pre-flop: Hero has K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2 folds, Villain raises to $4, Button folds, Hero raises to $13, BB folds, Villain calls. Flop: 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($27, 2 players) Hero bets $15, Villain raises to $30, Hero ... Now that I look at it, I'm thinking that my flop bet was weak and possibly induced that min-raise. Help needed on both ends of this flop. |

Re: AK 3-bet PF, TPTK Monotone board
Flop bet is a little weak, but not by much. I'd bet out 2/3 in a RR'ed pot (18-19ish). Personally I'm just going to push here, as he will minrase a ton with a flush draw / pair+draw hands (not to mention call an all in)... A set would pretty much never minraise on a flop that wet. If he flopped the flush then tough cookies.

Bet like 22-27 on flop. As played i'd probably just call and see what the turn brings, reevaluate.
