Button is new to our table.

I think you really need to raise here. The min raise when the stacks are kind of deep sometimes suggests a draw, and there are VERY few combinations of hands that you're behind here. I think 78 and JQ are his most likely holdings, and I would re-raise to 1300.

Check-calling a vulnerable hand like bottom two is not a winning strategy. You are probably ahead, but hardly in a position to give cheap cards.

Was just playin. He was in position so he didnt even have the check/call, check/call option.
