Fold preflop. You're getting crappy odds on a set, and most of the time you're gonna be folding the flop.

After the flop checks, I'd rather lead out the turn than c/r, but I'm doing so mostly as a bluff, not because of the value of my hand.

Fold preflop at the 16s? (I'd call at higher buyins too, but such an easy call at the 16s) I call preflop then check/fold every flop with an over, whether it gets checked through on the flop or not, and I'm 99% sure that's profitable.

Edit: what does FPS mean

Turn is higher than your pair, yet you decide to C/R?

That's really FPSish. Just fold.

Call preflop is fine, IMHO.

Spew 75 to win 1500? Ok I don't win the 1500 everytime I flop an 8, but I think you get gifted a stack too much here to fold.

Yep, I'm playing them basically the same. Even if 88 flops an overpair I might call the cont. bet but that's it.

Seriously? I thought that playing small/medium pairs for set value was standard here. Especially at the low limits we play, where villains are completely willing to donk off their stacks if they catch any piece of a flop.
