diet pepsi max is the best tasting diet soft drink. but i've recently started drink diet rite instead. it tastes almost as good, has 0 calories, 0g sodium, and no caffeine, and it uses splenda instead of aspartame, which is great if you don't want cancer.

ryanj - sounds good...except I kind of NEED there to be some caffeine in it.
Drinking a soda without caffeine kind of defeats the purpose for me.

Does any single of you that drink diet soft drinks actually prefer the taste over the 'regular' soft drink version of said drink?

Immensly

Regular sodas are undrinkable to me with the exception of regular mountain dew

They are too heavy and too sweet for my liking

Emphasis on the heavy part... like it's not smooth going down or something, I don't know

I can't drink non-diet soda anymore

Which causes more cancer, aspartame or living near a power line?

After like 20 years of drinking diet soda, most regular ones taste like drinking gross sugar water.

I don't drink any soda anymory myself. Still always found diet coke to be much more vile than regular coke but the general concensus seems to be that people actually enjoy the taste... interesting.
