Default A Simple Coin Flip

Suppose you were presented with two options: to restart your life as a left handed person with a 50% chance of being extremely brilliant and a 50% chance of being extremely crazy, or to continue your life as it is without ever knowing you were presented this option.

Would you choose the former or the latter, and why?

I don't see what benefit there is to being extremely brilliant, I'd rather be averagely smart and filthy rich, and there's no way I want to be crazy so this whole scenario is completely retarded.

Pick a field (Art, Literature, any Science) and you'll quickly see that anyone deemed "brilliant" is also crazy as a sh*thouse rat. So if I flip the coin, I'm crazy no matter what, with a 50% of being brilliant (i.e., rejected and ridiculed by my peers and not recognized as a genius until decades after my death).

I think I'm cool without the flip.

The key consideration here is obviously the lefthandedness. Responses so far aren't focusing enough on that.

Why can't you be all of the above? The 3 aren't mutually exclusive.
