I was looking through the old ICOOT threads and didn't want to bump the bacon one but for a dessert - you can make delicious popcorn using bacon fat instead of oil.

Re: Iron Chef OOT 12/13-12/24
RDH,
I have a set of cutco knives. I am quite pleased with them. Back when I still cooked professionally, I'd leave my knives at work and use my cutco knives at home. They maintain a sharp edge, are well balanced, light (I actually prefer heavier knives), and have a good grip that rests comfortably in my hand. |

First, "ICOOT" = awesome. Second, I'll have to try that sometime.

CSC, I went Squash/Avocado/Onion. Especially since we've had Beef and Bacon already, I'd really like to see something non-meat. [/ QUOTE ] mushroom avacado tomato. id want avacado iron chef first...so much can be done it'll be awesome. then mushroom. then tomato (creativity points huge here) Barron |

i like avocados, but it seems weird to feature an ingredient usually served raw?
