I bet here. Villain could have medium pairs or something like AXc that he calls with.

I think I also call a raise against an unknown. You are generally ahead. If he had a boat, he probably would have raised the turn. If he had 88, well that's life.

Well enough reasoned, I think, but on the other hand we might induce him to bet if we check to his Ax. Then we get a bet if we win and don't have to call or fold to a raise if we are behind.

I thought about the c/c (naturally, I think of everything! [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]), but given villain cold called and shown no aggression I assumed he's reasonably loose passive and will call more hands than he will bet.
