Default A hand that I butchered....ughh (25/50)

This was literally my 4th hand at table. I have folded my blinds, and now I open for the first time on button. SB is Foilshizzle, he seems like a regular to these stakes and I know very little about him. BB seems kind of bad with my limited experiences with him, especially with how he cold called the 3bet here. So I am not really worried about stacking off to BB, but SB is relatively unknown to me.

No-Limit Hold'em, $50 BB (5 handed)

MP ($5111)
Hero ($5000)
SB ($17685)
BB ($7444)
UTG ($9730)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises to $175, SB raises to $600, BB calls $550, Hero calls $425 (???).

Flop: ($1800) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero checks. (eww, right?)

Turn: ($1800) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets $1350, BB folds, Hero calls $1350.

River: ($4500) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets $4500, Hero folds.

Here are my thoughts, after thinking it over.

Preflop: My friend said that I should 4bet shove this preflop, since I can profitably get it with worse against the donk (BB), but I just did not know enough about SB at time and wasn’t sure if it was a good idea given action, but I think that it has a lot of merit. What range would you reccomend or a 4bet here?

Flop: I really dislike my flop line, I think I should bet 1/2 pot, to get some kind of response out of SB. I think I screwed this street up the worst.

Turn: I dont mind the call, I have a gutshot , he could be value betting worse sometimes, etc.

River: Sigh, do any of you guys call as played? I have really under represented my hand.

Oh man get it in preflop and bet the flop

I think shove the turn since it makes little sense for him to check a big hand on the flop, unless BB is bad in that he's super overaggro.

PF: 4bet kinda small -- donk more likely to call w/ weak hand
Flop: bet -- donk likely to call w/ weak hand
River: really tough

If I dont 4 bet all in pre (or make it like 2200/call shove) then Id definitely bet/call flop, especially if donk from BB shoves.

If you bet flop how do you respond to a checkraise from SB? Is it okay to safely bet 1/2 pot and fold to further SB action. Are should I be felting?

Yeah, mandatory flop bet if I just call preflop, sigh.

cts he seemed like a spewtard at lower stakes. One hand he raised utg at 10/25 and calls a 3bet against a tight player with Q10o, then basically played the flop like a retard.
