Newb at Poker Tracker

I just downloaded the demo of PT and am completely clueless about how to use it. I have seen people post stats about players in strat forums in the form of something like 17/2/5. What are these numbers and how can I easily access them about each player? What are the basic things I should be doing with this program to improve my play?

If there's some sort of sticky on this please link it, but I've had no luck finding anything. Thanks.

You need Pokerace HUD, a PT addon, to have stats of other players displayed live at the table.

When people write about xx/yy/zz, xx is the VPIP value, yy the PFR percentage, and zz is the postflop aggression factor.

PokerAce is not free.
But if you want a free program which displays onscreen stats, try Gametime+
Go to the pokertracker homepage, look down the left margin for Gametime +. Download it, install it, and it is off to the races for you!

Gametime+ gives 4 stats, what are they?
