Seems to me that a better goal than getting on the playback for a certain amount of time would be to get on there permanently. And the way to do that would be to draw art inside each of the letters that is good enough to be protected -- this also has some ancillary benefits -- it gets some people infinite ink which would be helpful for obvious reasons. If we're strategic about it, we can get a lot of people infinite ink -- e.g. not everyone is talented enough to draw something worth keeping, but we could have the people that are (gorie, etc?) use VNC or something similar to do various drawings from other people's computers to get them infinite ink.

This plan would require some strategy though because as they protected parts of the drawings in the letters it will become more difficult to draw in the adjacent areas because they will be bordering protected areas. Although from what I hear if you have infinite ink you can draw on protected areas, so maybe that won't be a problem because as more areas become protected, more people will have infinite ink and can draw the "connecting areas".

that might work. Apparently the guys from the 'VIP' did that too, some nice stuff in there:

This is a good idea but in order to do it without getting vandalized it would have to be done vary late at night or early morning and it would need to be done by a few people working together.

also people who are good artist should find some out of the way place to make something and get infinite ink to help out.

somebody with talent should fix the beedog. also, i still can't find the damn orly owl where is it.

for those who want to do art, here's a list of stuff we've done so far.

pedobear
orly owl
chris hansen
rick astley
pooptoad
hypnotoad
beedog

also, to be clear, the stuff that infringes on our borders, like the cat, boobgirl, LETS DRAW and blueface are all protected. If we expand it has to be in bits and pieces, not expanding the whole thing. Plus we should never be arguing that nekkid anime should be erased.

What are the odds we could create and protect a giant image of Dids?

Just a thought...

It would be vandalized often, but might take the attention off the actual letters themselves.

I would also like to see that girl with the pink hair. That would be cool.

I've noticed that you have different levels going up at different rates depending on where you connect to the internet. Since I connect from more than a dozen different places on campus, my ink seems to be replenishing at each of them separately.

The more ink you use the quicker is replenishes after you use it, so on the computer you use most it refills quicker

Hey Gonso, ever heard of this?

http://www.SL-Digital.com/WinTrans.exe

You can make the drawball window semitransparent and have an image open behind it...so it become like digital tracing paper

There is some more info in this DBF Thread
