But it helps the claim of incompetence.

if you're referring to what ike and i were discussing. no it does not.

Rothko. Yes I was and yes it does. That actually helps your position.
Starting from the premise that is was gross incompetence or a coverup and with ike saying it doesn't have to be either- you come out ahead regardless of which it was.

That was the point.

X posted from ATF, but:

Out of curiosity, under what law can lawyers delete posts on a public forum? Is 2+2 liable for all content in its posts? Given all the baseless accusations, libel, threats, etc. that can are posted on a daily basis, this would surprise me...

This isn't enough, don't settle for this guys unless they are forthcoming with full details and willing to submit to a 100% independent audit. Don't let them buy you off.

My question would be: Was the person who sent out the origin Excel file a whistleblower or was it an accident? Is that person still working for Absolute? If that person was fired as a whistleblower then no explanation of the security breach could bring me back as a player.

[/ QUOTE ]

There's zero chance IMO that person was a whistleblower. A whistleblower would have done more than just send out a garbled confusing excel file that took a ton of investigated to get to the goods. It likely was just an incompetent CSR rep (which was prolly why he was fired, if he was). This isnt the first time they've sent out HH that showed stuff they shouldnt have showed. Just a giant stroke of luck.

Then you missed the point where ike suggested they just laughed it off as hoax- which suggests he believes neither incompetence nor a coverup.
