You are calling for a split, he could hold 77, I think I call here for the split though. You are getting 2:1 and I think it splits more than 2:1 here in the long run, it's such an easy board to bluff at.

I guess 76s makes some sense. I don't think I would have folded the river, though, even though you are only getting 1:2.

I'm thinking maybe a turn raise would be good. Who knows wtf he has in a blind battle, but he is tight and probably isn't open-raising from the SB routinely, so 55/54/65 probably isn't a huge part of his range. And, meanwhile, people [/i]love[/i] to donkbet "scare" cards, even if the card is not really that scary from a hand-reading perspective. I mean, for some guys, if they actually had a 5, they'd be checkraising. But it's hard to tell just from the stats if Villain fits that description.

I would shove the turn most likely because, well, you have a set and he most likely doesn't have a 5. I think you can be called by overpairs or some kind of retarded Ace high wheel draw with an overcard even. As played meh I really don't think he has a 7, it just doesn't add up unless 77 exactly. Call for the chop IMO. I don't do it much but there's almost no way he has a seven.

I think that few 20/10s generally have the creativity to bluff all in for the slight overbet here just to take down a split pot. Then again he may be playing an ace not realising fully the board straight.

Then again hands like 55 or some sort of flopped 2pair fit in. His attempt to steal might be a factor here. Some 20/10s still steal 35-40% of the time, so that would help narrow/widen his range here.

The reason I did not shove is I put him a wheel draw with two overs. I wanted him to catch an ace or a king on the river. I was going to call anything on the river, but the 5 was the only card I was not ready for.

If you put him on a wheel draw or overs, you can minraise the turn imo, he will call it most of the time.
