Default Trips Facing Possible Flush/Straight

My villain clocks in at 63/17/2.1 over 177 hands. I'm thinking I played this too passively and should have reraised in the flop. But, now that we are at the river do we make the call and hope he doesn't show up with a flush/straight? For some reason it is these sorts of hands that I always butcher and am not really sure what do do with.

Default Re: Trips Facing Possible Flush/Straight

I would call the river. Villain's pair + draw, for instance, might have rivered two pair, and for that matter, he could just have A6 or something. Who knows what a shorty is ever up to? And this one is pretty LAG to begin with.

I wouldn't mess around on such a drawy flop and would pop it immediately. But the fact that your opponents are both short-stacked does limit the riskiness of your play, at least.
