I r PLO newbie, forgive, taking stab.

You are building a pot out of position, with a double draw for any club, 6, 9, T or J but otherwise no hand against a LP raise and smooth call on the flop. You indicate he hasn't done anything crazy so that suggests to me at minimum the same draw but already has something. Maybe AK9T or AA9T, maybe AK89 ds. He may also have you nutted with the club leaving you to the non-club outs and thats his reason for raising.

I check/call the turn instead since I have no hand out of position, I don't want to build a big pot on a draw against a LP aggressor.

It is unlikely he's making that turn bet with A2xx.

Are you talking about the turn? There aren't very many 1/2 players on full-tilt I would lead the turn against. They give lots of free cards on the turn so I like to let them do that.

I wouldn't be surprised if villain had AAxxs [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] here.

that's because you're a nit who sees monsters and is afraid of life.

although i mean it could be. c/c looks best, but as played I'm still calling that bet. If it turns out I get stacked flush over flush I'd take the HH over to 2+2 wonder if I should've checked the turn.

esp. 5-handed, I'm willing to draw to an outside queen high flush. You'll get stacked sometimes, but I still think you're in okay shape.

you took your shot on the flop, and since co hasn't done anything crazy yet, probably not a shot with the best chance of success. i would check and call the turn. forget AA with clubs, you're losing and look bad to A clubs suited.
