i think i like your chances. these people are crazy if they think he can just easily down 10 drinks plus $36 more worth of food. that is of course if you have a no bathroom visits at all until he's done rule. soda is really filling. plus he'd have to pee really bad and still have like 70 chicken nuggets or whatever to eat. i think you win this easily

So simple soulution is I say drinks are not included in the $50.

$50 of Mcdonalds Pre Tax sounds rather nauseating and unpossible in an hour to me.

I think allow drinks but no ice and no bathroom breaks is the best regulation.

You have to allow some beverage consumption, you can't eat that much bread/salt without a drink.

No I realize I have to allow drinks.

I just wasn't going to allow the drinks to be included in the $50 pre tax food purchase.

But we still haven't worked out ALL the other details.

What's the most deluxe sandwich at McD's nowadays? I think his best strategy would be to go for the fancy sandwich. (NOT the pentuple-quarterpounder. The one that's super special because it contains honey-mustard or whatever.) Probably chicken/fish instead of beef, since they don't brag about mass.

How much does a small drink cost? If it's $1, you're definitely hosed if you include drink money in the $50. I like with your idea of allowing BYOB.

I say the cost of the food is either split or goes to the loser. 'Course that changes the odds slightly.

edit: Make sure you specify WHICH McDonalds! Don't let him go to the airport to buy his food.

edit2: Also, specify that he can't modify the sandwich. No "BigMac Hold The Everything"s.

not really a prop bet, more of a Crimson challenge/"I'll pay you if you can do this"

for one year,
1) every time he orders food from a sit-down restaurant, he must order it "ala mode"
2) he must do this even if he knows the restaurant does not have ice cream
3) if the server questions him on it, he must indicate that he is serious and his preference is for the ice cream to be put directly on the food
4) if the server refuses/brings it on the side/whatever, nothing happens
5) he does not have to eat the ice cream
6) he must keep a blog of any interesting happenings

he said his price for this is $2K

just allow one soda to be included and make him refill it rather than buying another if he needs more.
