So this is a pet peeve of mine, do officials not realize that on these goal-line situations, the guy is NEVER actually down? On that first play there, the guy gets stopped short, sure, but he isn't down. And then he gets in on the second push. If they are seriously saying forward progress is stopped and he is down because of that, thats a little crazy since he is stopped for like 1 second max.

Yeah, it was pretty clear that the ball went out of bounds (and not out of the endzone for a touchback). The most the Bengals hoped to gain was a few yards.
