Just in case some people don't know, this avatar was created from the ending of a South Park episode a week ago.

It's a South Park avatar. It's not a gay-bashing avatar.

[/ QUOTE ]

Right. So if I were to take a still from 'Birth of a Nation' and use it as my avatar, it would be a Southern heritage emblem, not a racist avatar, amirite?

so you think if someone were to have an avatar that said 'you're a N-I-G-G-E-R' they could play it off as an American History X joke, not a black joke?

yeah, when using bad stuff out of context, it doesn't matter how right or proper it is in context, it's out of context.

nt is right.

I don't think Dynasty was excusing it though, just telling where it came from.

Regardless of the source, it's still functionally gay bashing. This isn't really relevant in a "how should we moderate sense" but in a "let's not just bukkake all over logic sense"

I feel like I missed something here because Dynasty didn't really say it was acceptable or shouldn't be removed, just provided context.

Of course dids, NT and whoever else are correct in their arguments I just don't see anything against which to argue.

Won't the mod forum dissolve into anarachy and the world be destroyed if all factions agree?
