Re: bodog 10k -- Bubble w/ JJ
I def wouldnt push 20k preflop to win like 3200. Id proly make it like 5k so that we give him an oppurtunity to make a mistake with a lower pair postflop.
Obviously calling a shove getting 1.8-1 |

Obviously calling a shove getting 1.8-1 [/ QUOTE ] pushing is perfectly fine, its only the pfr that the effective stack is 20k against and he raised in CO 6-handed as a big chip-leader near the bubble which means his range should be very wide if he has some clue (only thing that might mean the risk he has a big hand a bit big (4bb) raise, but ppl do that all the time so..). if one of the other calls you with a big hand or something you flipping against its no disaster. picking up the 3k most of the time is a good thing and pushing is def better than raise/calling imo. |

Re: bodog 10k -- Bubble w/ JJ
Hmm well I think ur right that shoving is fine, but I still think a smaller 3bet is better for the same reasons u mentioned. Cause it is the bubble he might get a lil out of line and shove worse plus a lot of bodog players will call 3bets with small pairs and suited connectors incorrectly. Basically I think he makes a lot more mistakes if we 3bet to 5k where as he plays close to optimal if we shove

Re: bodog 10k -- Bubble w/ JJ
This is a fairly standard pf push.
If the villains are good they should be calling with a lot of hands that you are ahead of... and it beats playing JJ oop without the initiative. I really don't like a go and go here so shove is the only good pf option. Since you called crai is standard. Listerx's advice of calling his 5k bet and folding if he fires another barrel is shockingly bad. |
