Default WCOOP 2nd chance hand (TT 60bb deep)

Not much of a read b/c I'm blind w/o pokertracker. this guy hadn't threebet at all, but two other guys and I had been threebetting enough that threebetting light might have been in his mind. In blind v blinds I had been stealing lots of small pots from him. I had fairly recently 4 bet ~35bb in pre with AKo (and won the flip).

Why would you not bet a good flop and bet a bad turn?

Pot control on flop so he can easily call a turn bet on most turns. J on turn isn't really a bad card cause villain barely ever has AJ/KJ here and at this point he's already given a free card and villain seems weak so he bets.

I likey.

Appreciate the explanation. The way it's played definitely defines the villain's hand better. Although I would have just checked the turn and c/c the river if the bet wasn't too big. Only because I know I'm capable of checking twice when first to act and c/raising the turn with air.

I'd much rather bet/call flop than check behind then bet turn. if he checkraises flop im happy getting it in. but getting check raised on the turn sucksss. also i don't think we're gunna get 2 streets of value by betting turn/river so i'd rather check behind turn again and call or bet river. but really i like betting the flop

fwiw i mainly posted this because I think flop is very debateable. (every street is debateable, down to the turn betsize, but especially flop)

I would bet this flop, if he calls or raises you pretty much know you are done with the hand. Anything calling this is JJ+ or AKc

Its not just about getting your money in because you have a pair higher than anything on the board. The guy did reraise preflop and AK would cbet here but most likely the hand will be checked on the turn, if there is still action you know you are beat and can fold.
