I would certainly pop it one more time early in these tourneys, unless you have reason to believe this player has a clue.

But against competent opposition, call b/c he's valuebetting into a clear 7? Or can I be threebetting there with worse?

I'm both wondering what to do against the average wcoop donk and what kind of ranges we should have if we're both decent. Generally my m.o. in td has been get to showdown with a bad 8 or a 9, vbet and slow down if raised with a good 8, mash raise button with a 7. Not too sophisticated.

Against competent opposition it's almost a tossup, but generally a raise.

On the river you lose 2 bets when you are beat and (should) win one when you are ahead. Questionable if you get this much action from all of OP's 7s. I do, on the other hand, like a river raise for image reasons. It is early in the tourney and you dont want a tight nitty image. Given the low blinds and that you have a playable stack, even if losing two extra bets, I am willing to give up a fraction of BB to possibly get more action later.
