Pahud: virus detected by my computer. What should I do?

virus detected by Avast:

Win32:Inject-BS [Trj]

And I cannot open Pahud anymore. I can only open a copy, but it's version 1.17.2 beta.

I am guessing it is the way he handles the callback function by injecting code through a dll hook. FWIW, Norton AV nor AVG are hitting on it for me.

Did you try with an old version (1.17.2beta), like me? It seems to work.

And when I don't block what Avast tells me to block, I still cannot open last beta version.

I believe this is a false positive. Someone please send the file to Avast so they can determine if that's the case or not.

Also, that thread reveals my findings from having a couple online virus scanning services scan the file with many different scanners.

I'm not sure what the procedure is. I don't use Avast myself. You'd want to send the file that is being flagged as having a virus.
