Aside from the obvious multitude of problems this film has, did it appear to anyone else that Ray Liotta forgot to stop by costuming on the way to the set?

ray liotta still looked like he was coming out of goodfellas...
i mean seriously
mathew lillard? burt reynolds? burt reynolds as KING?
i mean this could've been a good guilty pleasure like Willow or some [censored]....I don't mind Jason Statham being a bad ass...and all that ridiculous action (like the ninja?). i can still enjoy terrific trash, but why is SHAGGY IN THIS MOVIE acting as some warrior? I'd like to see well-made fantasy type movies being produced...but this is just discouraging.

Well, I'll be damned. I was just about to mock everyone for taking this obvious phony movie seriously, but I thought I'd play it safe and search for it. Lo and behold, it really is an actual movie in production. I can't recall ever seeing a trailer with worse production values, which does not bode well for the actual finished product.

That's the only explanation I can think of.

According to wikipedia, a two and a half hour version will hit theaters. The 3 hour 10 minute version will come out on DVD. The budget for this epic? $60,000,000 .
