idk why i checked turn this hand i just felt like you had a medium pp or weakish J and were gonna call me down. I raised in LP and my range is super wide and its hard for me to really represent a super strong hand without firing 3 barrels. Against me you probably shouldve c/c turn and c/f river bc im rarely 3barreling a bluff here, however i may bet on some scare cards. C/R turn vs me is pretty sexy if you think im valuebetting like medium pairs vs you but its hard for you to really represent anything on that board bc you c/r flop with like any legit draw or moderately strong hand. And yea i agree that leading turn really screams weakness and unless your taking that lines with sets also or are prepared to make huge calldowns its prob not a great play

Don't really know how to handle this, but he's going to be betting this turn like 99% of the time.

Don't know anything about his river tendencies, and c/c'ing turn just seems like such an unprofitable river decision.

Nobody likes c/r flop? I would definitely make my move on the flop here. I switch it between bet out flop and c/r flop depending on villain. c/c flop is turning your hand face up on a board like this, you're a big fave to have 66-99ish.

Edit: OK you're probably not that limited, but it's hard for you to have a strong hand or good draw.

what do you mean by "unprofitable river decision"? if you make a correct decision on the river there's no way it can be unprofitable.

The problem with c/c flop c/c turn on this board against a good player is that he will know that you can't have a strong hand because of board texture.

So if you plan to c/c the turn you have to call a river bet as well unless you know villain shuts down on the river with his bluffs.

An important decision therefor has to be made on the flop. C/R flop, and turning your hand into a bluff is a legit option, definitely if you're not sure about your best play when you c/c and meet aggresion on the turn again.

Why not 3bet preflop? I dont rly like flat calling OOP against BTN stealer.

Reverse implied w/ small PP? What are you talking about?
Btn open raise, we 3bet, btn calls
Scenario 1: w/ set: bet-3bet
Scenario 2: w/o set: continuation bet, give up.
Its pretty simple imho.

I think w/ small pockets, which obv cant be played for pair value, especially OOP, 3bet>fold>call
