Honestly, in the long run, that would be the best thing that ever happened for the gay rights movement...

I don't understand how is passing a law that destroys a freedom we have going to be good for gay rights.....

My humble opinion is if by chance a law like this passed the people who let it pass (people who did not go out and vote) would do the same thing they did on voting day sit on their lazy butt and let the law be passed.

The only people who would cry would be people like us who seem to be an ever growing minority of people who care what legislation passes and what freedoms we lose every day.

There will never be any small dose of revolution or any change because people are content to sit in their living rooms eat a cheesburger ( not in new york anymore I suppose: see trans fat ban) and let the government run wild on them.
