Not at all. I'm actually agreeing 100%. I said the lack of ties was known for some time by those in the know, and wasn't stated otherwise with the exception of reckless politicians spouting rhetoric.

Andy replied quoting a reckless politician spouting rhetoric, not realizing that we both agree on the issue, but express it from an entirely different perspective.


I even said in my post that Andy quoted.... that the LACK OF TIES BETWEEN AQ and SADDAM isn't anything new, and <u>ASIDE FROM POLITICAL RHETORIC</u> hasn't been claimed outside of anyone other than <u>RECKLESS POLITICIANS</u>.

In other words...reckless politicians have made this claim in their rhetoric, but it has been known for quite some time within the operational and intelligence communities that this was not the case, and no substantial link existed between AQ and Saddam's regime that we know of.
