Default More WMDs found in Iran.

Coalition Troops have discovered that many people in Iraq have cans of gasoline in their houses and in the gas tanks of their cars.

Recently, troops have discovered styrofoam in many of these same houses.

As you know, mixing styrofoam with gasoline creates NAPALM, a chemical weapon.

It is believed these same conditions exist in Iran, we should invade immediately!

I think we invaded just in time, hoards of terrorists were just waiting to smuggle gasoline and styrofoam into America, and blanket the Midwest with NAPALM!

You mean the one about all the old decomposed ordinance we found shortly after the invasion 3 years ago, and widely reported then?

Here is a link you can read, from when it actually happened:

Why is it OK for the US and Britain and Israel and other countries to have "Weapons of Mass Destruction" - but not countires like Iraq or Iran?

If we insist that Iraq and Iran and Syria and whoever else we decide to pick on is not permitted such weapons - shouldn't we also completely irradicate those weapons we have at home as well?

Aren't all these demands just the tinyiest bit hypocritical?

I don't think most people concern themselves with whimsy concepts like hypocrisy.

Regarding Americans (and I suspect many other nations) there's no doubt a feeling of superiourity: "of course America should have WMDs. They can be trusted and will never abuse them. But no morally inferior nations should ever have the same weapons that the US has (unless the US decides to sell weapons to them... then its okay.)"

Is it a goal of government to not appear hypocritical? When did this start?
