Default I\'m either way ahead or way behind. (200NL 6 max)

Blind vs Blind. He has seemed pretty aggresive so far at the table. His stats are 20/15 with aggression factors of: 2.5/2.5/11.0/6.0

Full Tilt Poker, $1/$2 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

CO: $46.10
BTN: $301.35
Hero (SB): $249.95
BB: $330.25
UTG: $240.20
MP: $373.75

Pre-Flop: J 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB)
4 folds, Hero raises to $7, BB calls $5

Flop: ($14) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 4 J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $11, BB calls $11

Turn: ($36) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $22, BB raises to $52, Hero ?????

I think that this is one of those situations where I am either way ahead, or way behind. A raise on the turn here probably is only called by a better hand? Just call here?

If I do just call, then what do I do on the river? Check/call? bet/fold?

Thanks

If u call the turn. I'd probably just check-call the river hoping that he's bluffing. His raise could be the lhe move of looking for a cheap showdown, but if that's the case i doubt he's calling a river bet anyways.

never understood why that works in lhe, surely you put the same amount of money in whether you raise turn/chk river as you do if you call turn/call river. Am I missing something?

I feel if you don't know what you're going to do on the turn if you get check raised, you shouldn't bet. The flop is super dry, so i think i check turn to both a)induce bluffs from random weaker hands/air and b)control pot against bigger J's.

you fold out 6 outters that will catch up on the river a significant % of the time that would be correct to call the turn raise.

ex. you open 99 otb, sb 3bets, u call. (7sbs)

flop is K 7 3 he bets, you call. (9sbs)

turn 4 he bets, you raise... villain is getting 7.5 to 1 to call the raise

you're ahead of his range enough to call down profitably anyway, esp. if villain is capable of double barreling lots of turns. its a good play if villain is weaktight b/c he may fold a better hand. also if hes double barreling AQ, AJ, AT, etc... he may incorrectly estimate his outs at 3 rather than 6 (only the aces being live) since he expect you to have a king. thus incorrectly folding a live 6 outter on the turn getting 7.5 to 1.

Yeah call/ check call. This could be A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or some other hand that picked up a draw. I dont think crai on the river is remotely smart unless we fill.
