Default NL100 line check: flopped set in reraised pot

No big hands between me and villain before this, he is about 21/8/3 over 40 hands. Normally i would fold pre but he likes to 3-bet pre as much as raising initially so far.

How's my line?
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (5 handed)

BB ($97.90)
UTG ($87.15)
MP ($116.75)
Hero ($146.20)
SB ($28.85)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls $1, 1 fold, Hero raises to $4, 1 fold, BB raises to $13, UTG folds, Hero calls $9.

Flop: ($27.50) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $15, Hero calls $15.

Turn: ($57.50) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

River: ($57.50) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $31, Hero raises to $95

I like it. I would usually bet turn, but you probably know something I don't. And if you're really afraid of being 3-bet, don't raise as much or just limp with your mid pp.

I actually started a discussion yesterday that touched this very topic and nobody seemed to like to limp from BTN. You can see the discussion here:

i'd definitely bet that turn. the only way we're getting paid is if he has a king anyway. if he has a king, he's trying to get you to bet so he can CR. At that point you can do whatever because you're getting it all anyway.

Raising the river here looks more like the big hand that you have than just betting the turn when checked to.

Damn I would bet the turn. Your not going to scare away any hands here if there going to call river. Bet smallish or somthing.

I don't mind a turn check here to mix things up - he has about $70 left in a $58 pot, so it won't be too hard putting him in on the river. Plus, you might get a river bet out of non-King hands that would fold to a turn bet.

If he had more behind, I think you need to bet something on the turn (1/2 pot or so) to be able to get the rest in on the river.

He knows you're definitely not bluffing on the river. On the turn, you could just be trying to rep a K.
