Default Trends in online poker and projected growth

What are the trends in online poker in terms of growth? Is the market still growing? Or is stagnated?

What does the future hold for online poker in the long term? Is online poker illegal in China? Is it possible that at some point it won't be?

Any kind of UP-TO-DATE info preferrably with links and also your own experienced views appreciated. Tried googling and FAILED.

well, all the games have gotten progressively harder over the past 6 mos- 1 yr. cant speak on china's laws, but they seem to be a pretty disciplined and economically challenged place, 2 billion people- i doubt their involvement in online poker will matter. but if the japenese devolve as americans have we'll see some increased growth. this is something ive contemplated on in depth over the past month, along with poker being less fulfilling and more monotonous.

They still have the gamble in them. It's intrinsically linked to their culture!

If the Japs start playing then the good ones will be tough. However there will be 5 thousand ones who just want to gambool. That would be a financial bonanza for us if the Japs started playing.

Yeah, what Leatherass said, I think their gamble overrules their mathematical skill, all these Asians mainly want to gamble, just take a look at the roulette tables in casino's same thing for those guys. I really hope they will get a poker boom going in Asia, I think it would be VERY good for the most of us
