Getting a good run of cards.
I was playing a 9 handed 100NL game that got down to 6handed. Out of 10 hands I think I raised 7 of them preflop, with the worst hand being KJs. I won them all without a showdown and was pretty sure I was going to get played back at the next time. Am I being paranoid? So I plan on playing very tight for the next few orbits.
The next hand I get UTG is AQo. I open for $7. Folds to the small blind (who I felt was the only other strong player at the table) and he reraises to $20. He has about 85bb and I have him covered. I just called and folded to his C-bet on a 933 rainbow board. I really didn't like any of my options, but felt my line was probably the best. Although I didn't feel very confidant in it. Any thoughts on how to play it? |
